Each contributor creates a piece made uniquely for this collection – a personal reflection on identity, self-love, diversity, and the beauty of being human. Whether created by hand or digitally, every artwork becomes part of the ILMT Collection – ready to be shared, exhibited, and seen.

Here’s a closer look at what The Collective is about – who it’s for, what you’ll create, and how to be part of it.

What you create

Each contributor is invited to create one artwork made uniquely for The Collective – in your own medium, style, and voice.

It can be created by hand or digitally; what matters is the meaning behind it.

You’ll also provide a print-ready version, allowing the piece to be shared, exhibited, and potentially released as part of the ILMT Collection.

Your work becomes a visual interpretation of “I LOVE MY TYPE” — a reflection on identity, self-love, diversity, and the beauty of being human.

Who we’re looking for

We welcome creators who feel connected to themes like identity, emotion, love, and visual storytelling.

There is no required medium or aesthetic – diversity in style is part of the magic.

We look for:

a personal and authentic visual voice
a meaningful interpretation of “I LOVE MY TYPE”
a genuine interest in visual storytelling – whether through colour, form, typography, texture, or something entirely your own
emotional honesty and artistic curiosity
craftsmanship in any medium
a willingness to explore what self-love and identity mean to you

Painters, illustrators, graphic designers, typographers, collage artists, photographers, textile artists, ceramicists, digital creators – all types are welcome.

What you receive

As part of The Collective, your work becomes part of the ILMT universe.

You will receive:

a dedicated artist profile on the ILMT website
features in our blog The Journal
visibility across ILMT social channels
inclusion in a curated exhibition (digital or physical)
the opportunity for your piece to become a limited edition ILMT print release, shared between us – giving you prints you can sell through your own channels
full credit and artistic ownership of your original work
connection to a heart-led creative community
