“Everyday Miracles” celebrates the tiny magical things in life that happen all the time, but often remain unnoticed. This series puts the focus back on them, reminding us how truly miraculous it can be that we simply feel, think, breathe and dream.

The prints were hand-painted and created with a unique technique, letting salt fuse with paint and water. The creating process is a collaboration between the painter Kathrine Højris and the salt’s powerful distortion on the surface. This process seems like a miracle in itself, letting the salt work independently, yet controlling it with the hands of an artist.
